Piano Lessons with Dr. Smith
Lessons are geared toward student achievement and swift progress. Regular and dedicated practice is expected and necessary for the student to improve. Effective methods of practice are taught in the lessons, and specific and detailed instructions are given on how to learn music quickly and efficiently.
Correct technique is taught - how to sit and address the keyboard properly, how to build finger strength and dexterity, and how to play with power but without excessive tension. Scales and arpeggios are taught to all students in addition to their pieces. As well, some theory and basic music history will be taught along as part of the musical learning process.
Cameron Smith is currently accepting dedicated students in the Houston - Sugar Land area.
